First Choice Health Services LLC is a for-profit organization established in 2011 in the District of Columbia to provide services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our philosophy is to empower and support the people we serve to not only have access to their communities but also to acquire opportunities for participation on every level in the communities.
First Choice Health Services provides a service delivery model that encompasses health and wellness, self-determination, community inclusion, relationship building, and self-advocacy in a person-centered environment.
First Choice Health Services provides an environment where the people direct their one services by sharing their ideas, needs, and personal goals. We are here because they are there.

Our mission is to support and empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live their lives to the fullest while enjoying a broad range of opportunities for community integration, personal and career growth, and much more in an environment where they are recognized as important and equal members of the society.

Our vision is to help every individual with intellectual and developmental disability in Maryland to live a fruitful and active life where they are empowered to reach their goals and optimize their total potential.
